# Fn+F8 (WLAN-rfkill) deaktivieren – Lenovo ThinkPad

**Ziel:** Das WLAN darf durch die Fn+F8-Taste nicht mehr per `rfkill` blockiert werden.

## Umgebung

- Hardware: Lenovo ThinkPad
- OS: Debian 13
- Desktop: KDE Plasma (Wayland)
- Kernel-Treiber: `thinkpad_acpi`

## Lösung (Hotkey-Interface abschalten)

Deaktiviert das Hotkey-Input-Interface von `thinkpad_acpi`, sodass Fn+F8 kein rfkill mehr auslöst.

```
sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad-hotkey-off.conf >/dev/null <<'EOF'
options thinkpad_acpi hotkey=0
EOF
sudo modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
sudo modprobe thinkpad_acpi
```

### Optional: systemd-rfkill neutralisieren

Verhindert, dass beim Booten alte rfkill-Zustände wiederhergestellt werden.

```
sudo systemctl stop systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo systemctl mask systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo rm -f /var/lib/systemd/rfkill/*
```

## Verifikation

1. Alle Soft-Blocks aufheben:

```
rfkill unblock all
rfkill list
```

2. Fn+F8 drücken und erneut prüfen:

```
rfkill list
```

<div class="ok" id="bkmrk-erwartung%3A-vor-und-n">**Erwartung:** Vor und nach Fn+F8 bleibt WLAN *unblocked* (kein Soft-Block).</div>## Rollback

Hotkey-Interface wieder aktivieren:

```
sudo rm -f /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad-hotkey-off.conf
sudo modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
sudo modprobe thinkpad_acpi
```

Optional: systemd-rfkill wieder aktivieren:

```
sudo systemctl unmask systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo systemctl start systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
```

## Hinweise

- Durch `hotkey=0` werden Events des Geräts „ThinkPad Extra Buttons“ nicht mehr bereitgestellt (einige Fn-Sondertasten können dadurch entfallen).
- Hardware-Schalter/BIOS-Hard-Block (falls vorhanden) wirken weiterhin.
