Lenovo - Thinkpad

Fn+F8 (WLAN-rfkill) deaktivieren – Lenovo ThinkPad

Ziel: Das WLAN darf durch die Fn+F8-Taste nicht mehr per rfkill blockiert werden.

Umgebung

Lösung (Hotkey-Interface abschalten)

Deaktiviert das Hotkey-Input-Interface von thinkpad_acpi, sodass Fn+F8 kein rfkill mehr auslöst.

sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad-hotkey-off.conf >/dev/null <<'EOF'
options thinkpad_acpi hotkey=0
EOF
sudo modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
sudo modprobe thinkpad_acpi

Optional: systemd-rfkill neutralisieren

Verhindert, dass beim Booten alte rfkill-Zustände wiederhergestellt werden.

sudo systemctl stop systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo systemctl mask systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo rm -f /var/lib/systemd/rfkill/*

Verifikation

  1. Alle Soft-Blocks aufheben:
rfkill unblock all
rfkill list
  1. Fn+F8 drücken und erneut prüfen:
rfkill list
Erwartung: Vor und nach Fn+F8 bleibt WLAN unblocked (kein Soft-Block).

Rollback

Hotkey-Interface wieder aktivieren:

sudo rm -f /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad-hotkey-off.conf
sudo modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
sudo modprobe thinkpad_acpi

Optional: systemd-rfkill wieder aktivieren:

sudo systemctl unmask systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
sudo systemctl start systemd-rfkill.service systemd-rfkill.socket
